Una colaboración con Desert X, the Passenger es un laberinto en forma de flecha inspirado en el tema de la travesía, que durante generaciones ha estado estrechamente ligado a las historias del desierto. Desde las narrativas bíblicas del éxodo hasta las caminatas de migrantes en busca de un futuro mejor, la necesidad de trasladarse de un lugar a otro ha dado forma a una experiencia compartida entre distintas culturas. Construido por muros de petate — tradicionales tapetes tejidos con fibra de palma — The Passenger habla de los desafíos y aspiraciones que motivan estos viajes y rinde homenaje a las personas que se han embarcado en ellos. Al darle forma a la experiencia de ir a otro sitio, The Passenger hace un reconocimiento a las muchas personas que han pasado por el Valle de Coachella, mientras permite a lxs visitantes contemplar su propia travesía al cruzar el laberinto.
